On the 29th of January , Corporal Raymond McDaid demonstrated excellent initiative and forward thinking during a crisis for 2nd Platoon . Going beyond his role as a platoonSergeant and assisting another platoon withing the company , he worked directly with the Platoon leader to ensure that the platoons training succeeded and was able to give the use of his own personnel server to achieve this . The actions of Corporal Raymond McDaid reflect great credit upon himself and the 7th Cavalry Regiment.

ON 20 JANUARY 2012, CPL DAYMEN TRIP INTENTIONALLY POSITIONED HIMSELF IN HARMS WAY BY TAKING UP A FORWARD POSITION TO PROVIDE INTEL ON ENEMY POSITION AND MOVEMENT. DURING WHICH, HE ENCOUNTERED A STRONG ENEMY PRESENCE. EVEN THOUGH HE WAS OUTNUMBERED AND OUT GUNNED, CPL TRIP ENGAGED THE ENEMY, EMLIMINATING 5 SOLDIERS AND WAS ABLE TO PIN DOWN THE REMAINING FORCES ALLOWING HIS TEAMMATES TO FLANK AND ELIMINATE THE ENEMY. OVERALL CPL TRIP ACCOUNTED FOR 17 KILLS DURING THE ENGAGEMENT LEADING THE WAY TO VICTORY. THE ACTIONS OF CPL TRIP REFLECT GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND THE 7TH CAVALRY REGIMENT.

FOR COMBAT ACTIONS AGAINST A HOSTILE AND DETERMINED ENEMY FORCE

On 20 January, 2012, CPL.Samuel Strady.Samuel, greatly assisted the 7th Cavalry COD5 TCC team in clan match against the L/G clan. Armed with only bolt action rifle, CPL.Strady foiled a flanking manuever by the enemy eliminating 3 enemies and pinned down a fourth allowing his team to move into position to eliminate the remaining threat. In addition, through out the match CPL.Strady provided key intel on enemy troop movements and positions allowing other team members to move in and eliminate opposing forces. Overall, CPL.Strady accounted for 11 enemies killed during the match greatly assisting in a victory for the 7th Cavalry. The actions of CPL. Strady reflect great credit upon himself and the 7th Cavalry Regiment.

Exceptional meritorious service in preventing a catastrophe from occurring. On 7 January 11, 2nd Lieutenant Argus promptly responded to a situation in which the training server was unexpectedly unavailable. SGM.Argus distinguished himself by promptly upgrading his server, at his own expense, which allowed for the operation to be run without interruption and prevented morale from dropping. His actions and dedication sets a standard for other officers to follow, and reflects greatly upon the 7th Cavalry as a whole.

On 10 DEC 11, 2011, the aforementioned 7th Cavalry members showed extreme fortitude on the battlefield. Without prior practice as a unit, these troopers went into combat against an organized enemy force. Utilizing the training obtained as members of the 7th Cavalry Regiment, this team was able to form into a cohesive unit. Using outstanding communication and teamwork, the 7th Cavalry came out of the battle victorious against the Cartoon Generals. The effectiveness that was displayed by those involved served to increase the pride that is felt among the troopers of Charlie 2-7 and the individuals that will be representing the 7^th Cavalry Regiment in the upcoming World at War TCC season. Since these actions were accomplished the COD5 servers have been full and there is an increase in the interest of public players. The actions of these members bring great credit upon themselves and the 7th Cavalry Regiment.

Provided with instructor training on a variety of courses, and stepping up to provide them? Are you prepared to devote extra time during the week to mold new section leaders, handle some administrative tasks, and work with the Company leadership to develop monthly events and improve the experience?
