It is our pleasure to announce that effective immediately, 3-7 Battalion is stood-up and will be the new home of Digital Combat Simulator (DCS) World in the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment: https://wiki.7cav.us/wiki/3rd_Battalion_Headquarters.

Official transfer posts, as well as promotion posts for new staff, will follow in the appropriate mediums.

On behalf of the General Staff, we’d like to congratulate all of the dedicated members and leaders that have made this moment possible! This is a remarkable and even historical achievement accomplished by the hard work and dedication of a team of people that turned a vision into a reality, and is one of our greatest success stories as a Regiment. Thank you to each of those people, as none of this would have happened without your efforts!

Special thanks is also in order to the Auxiliary Combat Detachment (ACD). Their mission is to be the home of new games and grow new units into Battalions, and they’ve done exactly that as all of A/ACD transfers to 3-7. Thank you and congratulations!

We’d also like to thank the support departments such as S6, the Command Sergeant Major, and other staff that have helped to create the infrastructure on our website, forums, Discord, and other systems to make a new Battalion possible. We’d also like to thank the S1 Department in advance for processing all of the new transfers and promotions! As with any new transition, there will probably be some kinks to work out, so please be patient with access or other related issues with our new systems for 3-7, and please send them up the Chain of Command like normal to be addressed.

As 3-7 Battalion begins its journey, we wish them the greatest success and challenge 3-7 to be the world’s preeminent force in the Digital Combat Simulator World community. Your story is just beginning and...

The following announcement is meant for the upcoming Arma 3 Modpack update happening on 02APR2024. This is going to be a relatively large update with a bunch of new maps, assets and tools to be used! Prior to this update the servers will be going down on the 2nd of April to allow change over so expect some delays if you are trying to play or train on that day. Below will be the following changes made compared to the old OCT23 modpack to the new APR24 modpack, please refer to the link at the bottom for the latest Modpack.
