ATTENTION TO ORDERS;




THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, ACTING UPON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE SECRETARY OF THE ARMY, AND THE COMMANDER OF THE 7TH CAVALRY REGIMENT, HAS PLACED SPECIAL TRUST AND CONFIDENCE IN THE PATRIOTISM, INTEGRITY, AND ABILITIES OF BRIGADIER GENERAL HARM KLEINMAN IN VIEW OF THESE SPECIAL QUALITIES, AND HIS DEMONSTRATED POTENTIAL TO SERVE IN THE HIGHER GRADE, BRIGADIER GENERAL HARM KLEINMAN IS PROMOTED TO THE PERMANENT GRADE OF MAJOR GENERAL, UNITED STATES ARMY.

AND I DO STRICTLY CHARGE AND REQUIRE THOSE OFFICERS AND OTHER PERSONNEL OF LESSER GRADE TO RENDER OBEDIENCE AS IT IS DUE AN OFFICER OF HIS GRADE AND POSITION. AND THIS OFFICER IS TO OBSERVE AND FOLLOW SUCH ORDERS AND DIRECTIONS FROM TIME TO TIME AS MAY BE GIVEN BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA OR OTHER SUPERIOR OFFICERS ACTING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

THIS COMMISION IS TO CONTINUE IN FORCE DURING THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA UNDER THE PROVISONS OF THOSE PUBLIC LAWS RELATING TO OFFICERS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE COMPONENT THEREOF IN WHICH THIS APPOINTMENT IS MADE.

2nd Battalion COD4 Officers Board 12 May 2012

Are you interested in taking a more active role in the Cavalry. Being at the front and responsibility for all that your men accomplish and fail to accomplish? Provided with instructor training on a variety of courses, and stepping up to provide them? Are you prepared to devote extra time during the week to mold new section leaders, handle some administrative tasks, and work with the Company leadership to develop monthly events and improve the experience?

There is ONE POSITION OPEN AT THIS BOARD for B/2-7 (COD4)

Criteria:

· SPC. or Above

· Section Leader or above

· Must have endorsement from Platoon Sergeant or higher

· Submit a PAF by 1700CST Saturday 11 May with copy of endorsement included.




Board members may include:


· General Grade Officer

· CSM

· Battalion CO and XO

· Battalion SGM

· Company CO and XO

· Company 1SG




If you are on the list of potential board members and can't do this, you need to send me a PM so I can find an alternate.


Board tentatively scheduled for 1600CST Saturday 12 May, Subject to change.
